Learning Target - I will learn how to properly cite and embed Shakespearean CDs.
Task #1- Shakespearean Citations - Please use the following citation method for plays.
(Act.Scene.Line). or (2.2.35-37).
Task #2 - Love Lines in R&J - HERE is a document that contains several key lines from Acts 1 & 2 of R&J. Maybe one of these descriptions of love will match the one you found.
Task #3.- Love Language Paragraph - Please answer the following question using your CD from film, music or literature and 1 from R&J. Make sure to focus on these 3 things:
1. Your basic embedding for the R&J quote
2. Editing your CD down to use only what you need from the quote
3. The transition from TS to CD
Here is a sample of what I would like to see:
Only moments after arriving at the Capulet soiree, Romeo immediately falls prey to Juliet's beauty, proclaiming that "She doth teach the torches to burn bright" (1.5.44).
Prompt:
How has our understanding of love changed over time? Or, has it changed at all? Compare a line from R&J to a modern CD about love and identify the similarities or differences.
Please submit it to turnitin.com before the end of class/the day.
