Assessment Goal: I can analyze, interpret and translate difficult texts.
Directions: Identify where you are on the scale based on your work in class translating lines from Romeo and Juliet. You must also provide a rationale and reflection. Feel free to go with .25/.5/.75 if necessary.
Distinguished (4)- You can analyze and interpret lines of difficult text with no help from peers or teachers. You are able to smoothly translate lines with no difficulty and recreate accurate examples of figurative language.
Strong/Solid (3)- You can analyze and interpret lines of difficult text with some help from your peers. You used peer discussion to translate lines. You recreated fairly accurate examples of figurative language.
Basic (2)- You repeatedly asked others for help or looked up translations online. You made an attempt, but could not identify the main ideas of lines.
Unsatisfactory (1)- You let your peers do all the work.
